The Nanoleaf Smart LED Monitor Stand turns a basic riser into a Matter-ready desk hub. Built with FANTAQI, it adds ergonomic lift, front task light, and rear RGB wash in one base.
Moreover, the product is live on Nanoleaf’s U.S. shop for $169.99. That puts the company deeper into desktop gear after years of panel and strip lighting, including its Matter ceiling light rollout.
Ergonomics and accessory mounts
Nanoleaf says the stand raises a monitor about 12 cm so the screen sits nearer eye level. That is the main ergonomics claim, not a floating arm or full height adjustment stack.
In addition, load capacity is 61.7 lbs (28 kg) as a base setup. Install the center support column and Nanoleaf rates it up to 154.3 lbs (70 kg) for heavier displays and gear.
The base also includes 23 universal 1/4-inch threaded mounts. Those holes are meant for mics, cameras, and other desktop accessories without another clamp forest.
Dual lighting: task bar and wall wash
However, lighting is the product’s real pitch. Nanoleaf calls it dual-flux: a front CRI97 task light plus a rear ambient channel that washes the wall at about 160 degrees.

Official specs list about 550 lumens on the task CCT channel and about 480 lumens on the front-plus-back RGB path. The rear strip uses 102 individually addressable zones and 16 million colors, with white light tunable from 1700K to 6500K.
Therefore, in the Nanoleaf app, you can customize scenes, run Rhythm music visualization, or use Screen Mirror so the glow tracks on-screen content. That is the same playbook Nanoleaf already uses on panels and light strips.
Matter, app control, and price
Meanwhile, the stand is Matter compatible and talks over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Nanoleaf lists control through its own app plus Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, and SmartThings. Basic Matter control still needs a compatible hub, the same caveat as other Matter lights.
Firmware updates can arrive through the Nanoleaf app or Matter OTA. Rated LED life is 25,000 hours on Nanoleaf’s chart.
U.S. pricing is $169.99 for the Nanoleaf x FANTAQI Smart LED Monitor Stand. It is listed on Nanoleaf’s site now, and Engadget also saw it on Amazon at the same price.
Who it is for
Still, this is not a cheap plastic riser. You pay for integrated lighting, accessory mounts, and smart-home hooks in one wooden-accented desk center.
If you already run Nanoleaf scenes, or you want desk light without another clamp bar and strip kit, the package makes sense. If you only need height, a plain stand will still cost less and skip the Matter stack entirely.
Finally, for smart-home shoppers comparing ecosystems, Matter support is the headline. It also keeps the stand closer to the broader lighting aisle that brands like Philips Hue already own on desks and shelves.
